Dr. M. Timothy Gocke brings more than 15 years of experience to his work as an oral surgeon and aesthetic practitioner. He cares for a variety of patient needs, including wisdom teeth removal, tooth restoration with dental implants, and corrective jaw surgery. He also offers Northern Virginia patients a range of cosmetic solutions, focusing on facial rejuvenation and enhanced aesthetics.
Featured on NBC News for his approach to patient safety, Dr. Gocke is a leader in the profession who prioritizes effective care and lasting, attractive outcomes. He is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
Dr. Gocke designed his practice to give Northern Virginia patients high-quality treatment and an excellent experience. He applies advanced technology to diagnostics and procedures and communicates extensively with referring doctors and dentists. As a result, patients can enjoy more predictable, natural-looking, and comfortable results.
As an oral surgeon and as a father, Dr. Gocke is committed to offering patients alternatives to potentially addictive opioid drugs, commonly used for pain management following procedures. Through consultation, he educates patients about options such as EXPAREL®, a long-lasting, non-opioid pain control product that he frequently introduces during treatment. Limiting exposure to opioids is particularly important in protecting young patients who come to him for wisdom teeth removal.
Throughout treatment, Dr. Gocke spends extensive time helping those in his care understand what to expect and answering any questions that they may have. He takes the time to build personal and lasting relationships with everyone he works with including his fellow referring physicians and dentists, but most importantly his patients. During procedures, patients can take advantage of a variety of amenities for a more comfortable visit. Dr. Gocke is certified to provide IV sedation in-office and has performed more than 5,000 anesthesia-based procedures in his career.
