The Cure to Dental Anxiety: Anesthesia

For oral and maxillofacial surgery, we ensure your comfort by using moderate and "deep sleep" anesthesia that makes your procedures safe and pain-free.

Go ahead, sleep. You're in good hands!

It's completely normal to be anxious about your surgical procedure, which is why we offer anesthesia to help put your mind at ease.

Certified Providers

We are certified in providing anesthesia services by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), so you can feel reassured that you are in trained and experienced hands.

Anesthesia Types

For the different levels of dental anxiety, Dr. Gocke can perform “deep sleep” (very fast acting and administered via an IV) and moderate anesthesia. Your vital signs will be closely monitored by our team throughout your procedure.

On-site Surgery Center

We have an onsite INOVA McLean Surgery Center in the heart of the city for patients whom Dr. Gocke feels need additional care due to their medical history.

Dr. Gocke has performed over 5,000 IV anesthesia cases.
